Homemade Soap Recipes: Mango Soap

You will also psychologically feel better and satisfied thinking that you are using the soap which is made by you. During the season of mango you may collect lovely and qualitative mangoes and use it to make huge numbers of mango soaps. You can use it yourself and can be presented to your parents, friends and relatives.

Mango soap is very easy to make at home, but you have to know the ingredients and the methods of making the mango soap. Once you know the procedure you will certainly fit and able to make the mango soap.

Method and Recipe 1

If you want an easy method, which doesn’t require much hard work and use of lye, then there is a recipe that is easy to make

Take about 20 oz of grated qualitative unscented soap.
Take 1 oz of distilled water
Take 1oz of fresh mango puree; remove the lumps by sieving it.
Take a Vitamin E capsule

Put all the ingredients in a double boiler, and melt it until fine and smooth. Pour the mixture into molds and let it cool for at least 24 hours. Take out the soap from the mold and it is ready for the use.

Method and Recipe 2

Traditional and old Mango Soap
Take about 2 teaspoon lye
Take 4 oz of lukewarm distilled water

Add 2 teaspoon of lye into the 4 oz of lukewarm distilled water and allow it to cool down. Heat the lard over medium heat until it turn to liquid. Then pour it into a bowl and allow getting it cool. Add the lye mixture into the lard. Stir it or mix it well until looks like cream. Then add some mango essential oil, drop by drop at a time. Add desired color into it. Then pour it into molds to set. Then take out from the mold and keep it in a non – airtight container for 3-4 weeks. Finally take out for the use.

For all these methods you can use digital measuring machine to know the quantity of ingredients you like use to for making mango soap. The higher quantity of soap you like to obtain then the higher ingredients you can use.
