It is sure that you must have bought shaving soaps from market and have used many times, but those are not chemically free and quite expansive too. The manufacturers of shaving soaps claim that their products are the best and lots of advertisement and marketing stunts are done to sell their products. Most of the gullible masses just get influence to manufacturers’ claims and advertisements and buy the product without knowing the chemical used in the shaving soap and sometime they get skin allergies and rashes.

You can avoid using shaving soaps, which are highly, chemically concentrated and expansive too.

Yes, you can make your own homemade shaving soap and save your money, and you can cheer your friends by giving your homemade shaving soaps as gifts.

It is easy and interesting making homemade shaving soap, but you have to follow the steps to learn the best ways to make homemade shaving soap.

To make basic homemade shaving cream you need following ingredients.

About 8 ounces of heavy mineral oil, 8 ounces of glycostearin, 40 ounces of water , a pot and double boiler.
Mix the Glycostearin and heavy mineral oil in the double boiler and heat around 150 degrees. In the separate pot, heat the water about 150 degrees and after that slowly and carefully stir it in the mineral oil and glycostearin mixture.

Once it is properly mixed, take out from the heat and keep it to get cool. When it gets cool, you can prefer adding some perfume and then store it decorative tin container for use.

To make old fashion homemade shaving soap you need basic ingredients.

Take about ¼ cup of glycerin soap, ½ teaspoon of sunflower oil, double boiler and decorative mug.

Cut it into pieces to the glycerin soap and put it in a double boiler and melt it. Then add sunflower oil and stir it finely and remove it from the double boiler and pour it into a decorative mug. The mixture will soon get cool and set up for use.

There is another best homemade scented shaving soap can be made, and it works fantastically to tone and soften your skin, helps to abate skin irritations and other problems. But there is slightly complicated procedure and method to make it.

To make Scented shaving soap you need the basic ingredients.

The main ingredients to make a scented homemade shaving soap are a metal spoon, a measuring cup, 3 numbers of Vitamin E capsules, ½ tablespoon of witch hazel, ½ tablespoon of Glycerin, 2 standard of round bar soap, 10 drops of pepper mint fragrance oil, 10 drops of cinnamon fragrance oil, 2-3 drops of orange coloring liquid, coconut soap base 5 ounces and microwave.

To start the process of making a homemade shaving soap you get ready with all the mentioned ingredients. At first slice the soap into small strips so it all melts soon. Then put the soap strips into the measuring cup and place in microwave for high heat up to 45 seconds. The melting time varies according to the amount of soap you take and the quality of microwave you use. After that remove the melted soap and stir it and then again place it in the microwave and continue melting the soap at 10 to 15 second interval, so the soap gets completely melted. While the soap is in melting condition, squeeze the vitamin E capsule in a separate bowl and mix it in melted soap and add witch hazel, glycerin, colorant and fragrance oil. Mix all the ingredients until it gets finely blended.

Let the soap get cool and harden, and then wrap it in a plastic wrapper and place it into a freezer for sometime so the soap gets mold properly.

It will be lovely to use the shaving soap and get the feeling of softness, smoothness and fragrance. It will be a lovely gift for your dad or uncles in any special occasion.
