From the morning as and when one gets up from bed what one searches near the washbasin is for the face wash or a tender soap to be fresh. Again lot of soaps and detergents are required in washing clothes, cleaning utensils, floorings, compounds and what not. What tiny tots enjoy in bath is playing with soap and again choosing from a wider variety of the soaps available these days it is indeed a great issue to select the most appropriate soap suiting your skin. If one refers to the dictionary then the meaning of Soap means a substance used for washing and cleansing purposes, usually made by treating a fat with an alkali, as sodium or potassium hydroxide, and consisting chiefly of the sodium or potassium salts of the acids contained in the fat. But for us the soap is a substance we use in our day-to-day life to wash and clean. It’s an invention, which helps us to maintain our hygiene standards. These days we are more inclined to use the liquid soaps as you just have to squirt some liquid in your palms and it relives you from lot of mess, which was earlier, created by the soap bars. For washing purposes these days lot of soapy liquids are available in citrus flavors as well as for bathing purpose you will find soaps like Spa, Aromatherapy and Sea Breeze as such exotic fragrances. Now if we look at the way these soaps are made, its really interesting thing to note that something which we use daily, without which we would be paralyzed, it has to go through quite a lot of complex method to come out as a finish product. As mentioned earlier soaps are mixtures of sodium, which is popularly known as Soda Ash or potassium, which is known as Potash. These soaps also have different kind of oils like olive oil, Palm oil, almond oil extracts, lotus oil extracts, etc. These soaps are a little expensive in market as these oil extracts are therapeutic as well as expensive too. These kind of soaps are usually for relaxing purposes and as well as to enhance beauty. With the increasing competition in the market different kind of soaps in different fragrances as well as various oils are available. Sometimes due to some negative effects of the synthetics used in the soap, handmade soaps are also available. Handmade soap has a lot of fat in it, which is good for the skin. These kinds of soaps also use glycerin, which maintains the smoothness of the skin. However with modernization lot of innovation is seen in the technology of soap making and new solutions are being reached to everyday to come up with the best kind of soap which keeps skin fresh and vibrant throughout the day.
