All you need to do is use a little imagination and you can create pieces of art with simple day-to-day objects.
A burning candle may accidentally cause fires so take always see to it that it is never unattended. Burning candles on heat resistant surfaces minimizes chances of fire hazards. Even your Candle holders should be heat resistant else they might heat up and destroy your furniture.
To ensure that the fragrance oil gets incorporated to the candle is not at low temperatures. Add the oils at higher temperatures like 170-190 degrees. You can even recycle wax scraps to create new candles. You can make non- drip candles by keeping them in a salt water solution for 24 hours before burning them for the first time. It is also said that keeping them in the refrigerator works too. But none of them are proven to work.

Apart from all these tips, some general tips are that while making candles and even after making these, keep them away from children. In the same way, keep them away from pets also.
