Candle Making: Creating Bead Covered Container Candles

It is very easy to make your bead covered container candles if you follow the instruction and make note of the ingredients and methods are to be used.

Today, candles are the main décor item at every home. Not only the candles add beautiful, lovely and attractive colorful touch to your room but it is the symbol of invitation.

In the market, home décor stores you spend lot of money to buy a decorative candles. But you can save your money by making elegant and lovely candles at your home.

How you do it?

At first you choose a plain candle in any shape, size and color for working it out.  You can get plain and ordinary candles from retailer shops.

Next choose some beads you like to add to the candle. You can have varieties of beads and those are easily available in the market.

While buying crafting pins make a point that the pins fit to the holes of beads. Make sure that the pins’ heads are adequately larger to place the bead on the candle. You can get crafting pins from the market, usually, in package you will get about 100 pins. These pins come in two colors, silver and gold, so you choose either of it or both which suits your beads colors.

  1. Make a design or pattern that you are going to apply to the candle. You can place the beads in zigzag fashion or in a straight line pattern.
  2. If you like to create a design then use the point of the pin and map out on the candle.
  3. Use crafting pins and place the bead onto your candle by smoothly inserting the pin through the beads. Give little pressure firmly and see the pins are inserted finely into the candle. Try to use the smallest pins, so it can be easy for you to insert it into the candle.
  4. Continue pinning the beads into the candle as your mapping. Finally you will see the beads are well placed and it add more color and life to the candle.
